The Well-Dressed Man...

Every Mens Dept round makes me feel well-dressed and this one is no exception. From the amazing Just Cool jacket that can be modified right down to the buttons with the included hud, to the stylishly casual Etham sweater/shirt, which also has texture-change options for the T-shirt and scarf, Mens Dept should be your 1st stop every month for looking good (see my post here for more items from this round). Not to forget the Monso hair and Sorgo glasses - I think you know where to find them - which will add some rakish charm to any look.

Bang A Drum

It's almost spring and love is in the air, or maybe not cause it doesn't feel like spring where I am. But with this endless winter drawing to a close it's time to make some noise - and that's what I'm doing thanks to Balaclava's cool drums that you can pick up at the Arcade (75l per play). For those who don't want to try their hand at the Arcade (or are afraid of blowing all their lindens), yard sales are a good alternative. Two well-organized gacha sales I know about can be found here or here.

The Energy Club has been making noise for three years now and to celebrate they have a mess of group gifts out. That's where I got this excellent mesh outfit from D-Style (matching gift for women) as well as the couch from End of Daze (2nd pic), which I previously blogged but now you can get it free. Go check out the club and grab some gifts while you are there.

Also making noise is LaVie. The skin here is a recent group gift (unfortunately no longer available), but I'm told LaVie has a number of projects in the works including new skin releases, group gifts and perhaps a hunt or two. They have recently reopened in a revamped urban style shopping area with a number of top shops. Good to see they are back and bustling again.

Lavender Encore + 2 more

I love Breno's chair from the Lavender hunt so much that it deserved an encore, don't you think? See Part 1 for more pictures from this hunt and gift previews/hints can also be found on the hunt website. 

My models are the same as last time. The female is a very nice combination of a shape from Shape It Up! found at the Free*Style store for just 10l and a gift skin from Deesse's. The male is the same Kirk skin recently released from Essences - it's so nice I haven't wanted to take it off- here combined with Step Inside's shape from the SYSP anniversary hunt.

I'm also showing two outfits from 22769 to round out the post. I don't know how they do it but their designs always look great on the blog. Delicious

Tomorrow is the end of the Femboy hunt and I couldn't let the occasion go by without whipping up a little something delicious. Aeva has a great skin/shape combo in the hunt (includes all tones), which is perfect for showing your more feminine side, although I suspect the skin would work well with other shapes. I'm wearing the A:S:S: gift from the hunt, which would probably, ahem, look equally good on women and the hair is a "survey" gift from Chichikee! (includes multiple tones and female hair as well). To get the hair gift, all you have to do is answer a few questions from the survey machine located in-store. It takes a minute and is well worth it. Update: Chichikee! owner Chiana Meredith had actually just removed the survey from her store, but will put it back out only through the weekend  - so show her some love guys.

Richmond (Part. 2)

Another round in the Richmond skybox from [Deco] available at Mens Dept this month (see part. 1 here), this time featuring an excellent new pool table from End of Daze among other things. And since billiards are best played à deux, some charming company was clearly in order. Of course, after breaking in the table, the evening progressed to other games...

Note that the female fashions are partly from the Golden Apple Hunt, which is a nice little hunt on the NYC sim with 12 pretty amazing gifts at a small price (ends Dec 24). Since this is a long post (after a long evening), I'll save some general views of the build/decor for a final wrap-up.
