Winter Paradisis

Still waiting for Santa like in my previous post, but now I have my Winter Nerd outfit to keep me warm, a new release from Paradisis that you can get on sale at Winter Market for just 75l along with the great texture-change mesh leg warmers. My skin is a new release from Aimi and the shape is an almost-freebie teen shape from Aeva that I modded a lot. I also really like Lupoaica's mesh Vanessa hair from the Candy Cane hunt, which includes a fatpack of colors via the included hud.

Welcome Santa!

Santa is coming soon and I can't wait. Everyday I meet some friends and scan the horizon, looking for those reindeer. I may even have a gift or two for him myself...

Tomorrow is the end of the Femboy hunt and I couldn't let the occasion go by without whipping up a little something delicious. Aeva has a great skin/shape combo in the hunt (includes all tones), which is perfect for showing your more feminine side, although I suspect the skin would work well with other shapes. I'm wearing the A:S:S: gift from the hunt, which would probably, ahem, look equally good on women and the hair is a "survey" gift from Chichikee! (includes multiple tones and female hair as well). To get the hair gift, all you have to do is answer a few questions from the survey machine located in-store. It takes a minute and is well worth it. Update: Chichikee! owner Chiana Meredith had actually just removed the survey from her store, but will put it back out only through the weekend  - so show her some love guys.

Four Walls and a host of other hunts also end tomorrow. If you haven't gotten Sway's gift yet, take a break from shopping and treat yourself to a cupcake.

Vintagy

With August drawing to a close, there are just a few days left for Vintage Fair (ends Aug 29), where you will find three sims with 100s of shops showcasing new releases with a "vintage" twist (along with the occasional gift). I love to see the pose props/poses released at these events and Vintage Fair is full of new items from the posemakers. One of the best is "Escher" from Bent, which has 22 cool, artsy poses in a surreal, multi-level white structure that reminds me of a classic Calvin Klein fragrance ad.

The post also features two new skin releases. Ezra is another in a series of great skins from Heartsick available at Vintage Fair and I imagine in-store after the event. Essences' new skin Dinu is on-sale at Mens Dept for the super low price of 85l (Essences is also gifting a tone from this skin in the Menstuff hunt).
