Little Warehouse Pt.2

Following up my previous post, here are a few more fashion shots and images of the decor I've used in Bauwerk's Little Warehouse skybox for this month's Challenge round.

Some general words on the build: it's Mesh (land impact of 44 prims) and features high ceilings, exposed ventilation ducting and monumental florescent style lighting that is fully and individually controllable via a central panel. Notably the intensity of each fixture can be set so you don't overpower the space with light, as is often the case. The build also makes use of large skylights and full length windows to bring quite a lot of natural light into the box. It works nicely as a lofty home/office space as I've done, but I can also see it being used in a role play setting.

The fashion here is again from this month's Mens Dept, + a new release from Apple May and a special thanks to the creators at (Red)Sand for providing their excellent Hooligan skin, which I'll undoubtedly show again. Oh, and all poses in this and my previous post from Saal Body. Thanks Alon!

Eggies

The Nest's annual Easter Egg hunt started today and there are some wonderful gifts to be had from select stores on SL's leading home & decor shopping sim. The eggs are hidden throughout the sim, on rooftops and in attics, or scattered in the fields, but they are easily found and there are many of them - most of the participants have put out multiple gifts.

My favorite has to be the incredibly cute "Eggie" set of mesh figurines from What Next, which range from the dapper Mister Egg to a Geek in goggle glasses or moody Little Miss Monday, who perfectly expresses the Monday-morning blues (there are actually 6 figures to be found - I'll be going back for my missing egg).

I'll have more on the avi I'm using here in a later post (and more decor as well), but a few eggs seemed a good way to kick off a Saturday morning.

Monochrome

I always think about color when I plan my blog posts, which is why I was looking forward to the latest hunt from Monochrome Hunts. Silver Lining is the second in a series of color-themed hunts - this time the theme is silver - and there is a nice range of items to be had (I'm featuring the furniture from Pestique, Circa & Estatica). The gifts cost 5L, but are worth far more than that - check their blog for photos of most of the gifts.

Today is also the last day I think for the Black Event on the Wash Sim, where I picked up some excellent textures from Timeless Textures and Far Concepts for only 10l that fit well with the theme of the post.

L'Heure Fauve

A little bit of green in the month of March is always a good thing. Of course, living where I do in the middle of a big city, it's not always easy to find nature, but sometimes nature has a way of finding you, as shown by the two beasts keeping me company for this post.
